Greenock Ocean Terminal is the main cruise destination port in the West of Scotland. It is located on the beautiful Firth of Clyde, and is a distance of 24 miles from Glasgow.
Each year, we have enjoyed an increase in cruise ships visiting us during the season, as well as several hundred cargo and container ships visiting throughout the year.
We are a deep water port, so your cruise ship will be berthed alongside our quay. On your arrival, you will disembark through a very friendly and welcoming terminal with the usual security checks.
You will be met by members of the Inverclyde Tourist Group, who are local people giving their time and local expertise to help you make the most of your visit. They can be recognised by their distinctive Inverclyde tartan waistcoats (gilets).
We are proud to say that Greenock Ocean Terminal won the “best cruise port reception in the world” in 2013. We aim to please.
