Arriving at Greenock Ocean Terminal

As your ship approaches the cruise berth, you will tie up alongside the Ocean Terminal. Being a deep water port, there is no need to tender passengers ashore.

Once the ship is secure, disembarkation takes place onto the quayside. A short walk will take you through the small terminal building where you will meet with representatives from the Inverclyde Tourist Group. They are easily identified by their colourful tartan waistcoats. They are all local volunteers who will freely and happily give you advice and answer any questions. There is an information desk in the Terminal which is well stocked with free leaflets and maps of the area.

Visitors booked on excursions will find the coaches located in the coach park, beside the terminal building. Please follow the instructions to take you to your coach.

You can walk to the local shops. Within a 15 minute walk to the west you can find the town centre of Greenock, with lots of interesting pubs, and the historic buildings of the original port.
